Evaluation of Consent to Link Twitter Data to Survey Data

Abstract This study presents an initial framework describing factors that could affect respondents’ decisions to link their survey data with public Twitter data. It also investigates two types of factors, those related the individual and design consent request. Individual-level include attitudes towards helpful behaviours, privacy concerns social media engagement patterns. The factor focuses on position request within interview. These investigations were conducted using was collected from a web sample users selected adult online probability panel in United States. randomly divided into groups, who received at beginning survey, others end survey.
